edit 2023-06-24: Fixed the crashes by disabling the E cores on my 13th-gen Intel . Prior to disabling the cores in the BIOS JustCause4.exe already automatically had its affinity set to just the P cores, but the copy-protection would still crash it. Fully disabling the cores stops the crashes, at a cost. 1. lefiath. Hello, I tried to remap the keys but I found many problems that do not allow me to play as I'm used to. I cant' remap movement keys (only asdf), can't remap keys like Ins, Del, Page up, Page down, it answers that these keys can not be changed! Each key I press is interpreted as a remap, also esc, right mouse button, tab, etc. So I can not get out of that menu. the only way is to end the Just Cause 3 doesn't support steam cloud 31 hours wasted. I hate this too, I wanted to go back and play a bit, but I have a new pc and would have to start from scratch, 60 hours wasted for me, I had a lot of progress and finished all the dlc's ;-; So sad my man Changing a format that's been successful for years is the obvious reason for that games failure. The way I fixed it is to reinstalling nVidia graphics drivers and then start the game. The problem unfortunately returns after a reboot. I have fixed it this way 3 times now! I did not have the problem before the patch was issued. #6. A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic. 1 disable the cloudsaving. 2 start a new game. 3 set the cloudsaves on again while ingame. 4 save the game or pass a checkpoint (manual save is better). Sc0rchFire • 5 yr. ago. I did not have Bitdefender installed, I had also installed JC3 in a different drive (D:) from where the progress/save files are stored (drive C - My Documents). Fix: - Install JC3 in drive C: - Play the first mission "Welcome Home" to completion (i.e. until you see "Mission Complete") Note: the save icon on the lower left seems to only work for Just Cause 4 is not saving my progress despite showing the save icon throughout different sections of the game.
